Animal Reiki

Animals love Reiki. And I love animals!

Reiki is a complementary therapy for animals and most love it! Treatments can be done at a distance or in person, allowing the animals to receive Reiki in a variety of circumstances.

Reiki is gentle and painless and can never cause harm. The session is dictated by the animal: I will not place my hands on the animal unless the animal tells me to, and the animal will take as little or as much as they want during a session.

Pricing:
$50 per session average time of session between 15-20 minutes. May be longer or shorter depending on the animal
Package for Animal Reiki 4 for sessions for $170

  • Distance sessions may be done via Zoom, Face time or the telephone with the animal & their caregiver. If the caregiver prefers, I can also send a session without interpersonal contact, and send a report to the caregiver after the session is complete.

  • Yes I do.

  • In a Distance Session:

    • We coordinate a date and time together via email or phone/text

    • I text or call you prior to the day or right before I’m ready to send to see if there is anything in particular you’d like me to know about what you wish to be healed.

    • We hang up. I send the session, and text you when I’m done .

Alternatively, for an animal distance session, we can simply set up a date and time for me to send a session to your little one, sans the conversation prior to the session, and I simply send it at that time.

    In a Zoom Session:

    • A date and time is selected and I send you a Zoom code for the meeting

    • Over Zoom, we discuss anything that you would like me to specifically address during the session

    • The reiki session begins

    • Please allow your little one to go out of my view. Do not follow him/her around the house.

    • The session ends and any other concerns can be addressed that came up during the session.

With Animals I do not need to see them in order to send them reiki. It is up to you.

    In Person sessions:

    • I talk with the parent or caregiver prior to arrival via phone, text, or email, to get an understanding of why you have asked for the animal reiki. At this point, I explain exactly how the session will go.

    • I come to your house — or wherever the animal lives at — a prearranged time

    • We discuss any new concerns/reasons for the reiki and any other questions you may have.

    • I then prepare to send reiki. The session may be 10 minutes or longer, depending on the animal’s needs.

    • The animal may stay in the room or move elsewhere; this does not mean the animal is not receiving the reiki, sometimes they feel the need to move while receiving. I never touch the animal unless the animal wants me to.

    • When the session ends, I discuss what came up during the session.

Human Reiki

Let’s harness inner harmony.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki treats the whole person–including the body, emotions, mind and spirit–creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Often, a Reiki treatment helps a person feel relaxed and uplifted.

Reiki works in conjunction with both eastern and western medicine. It does not take the place of these treatments but will work in harmony with these other modalities. Since it’s an energy healing, it is equally effective in distance sessions as it is in-person.

$ 50 for 30 minutes
$ 95 for sessions lasting more than 30 minutes up to an hour.

I hope this helps you understand what a Reiki session can provide for you. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me!

  • During an in-person session, you will lie fully clothed on a massage table, or sit in a chair if preferred, while I gently place my hands in positions around the head and shoulders, the abdomen and the legs and feet. Hands may hover above you or gently touch you. As a Karuna Reiki® Master, I usually chant or tone throughout the session. Chanting and toning the names of the Karuna Reiki® symbols while giving a treatment deepens the healing process.

“Jennifer is a powerful and gifted reiki master and practitioner.”

“Her reiki has helped me to process and release trauma, grief, and anxiety. It has helped to reduce physical pain from chronic gastrointestinal, joint, and muscle issues.  It also helped me along my recovery process after a surgery back in 2022.  Jennifer is a skilled teacher of reiki techniques and practice, based on the Usui method. She is gentle, kind, patient, and thorough. She has instructed me through two levels of reiki certification.  I know of no other reiki practitioner whom I trust more, nor from whom I would have wanted to learn.
